INCENTIVE: To escape and get a new life and identity, with the means to keep her son. Also to make sure Jonathan is safe.

FIT: Jed is more than comfortable with the idea behind the city, as physical affection is something she has no problem with. She's more than comfortable with her body, as seen in the above gifs. But what's more important is that she's used to adapting to the environment. She knows how to change her actions to suit her needs. All that matters is the outcome- an escape from her horrible life and the means to provide for her son whom she left with her sister.

CONSENT: Jed understands the importance of consent and has been not shown to break it in the series. Further, no one has gone as far as acting against her consent, despite the sticky and questionable situation she finds herself in.

Actually, more seriously, Jed is being pulled from a canon point in which she was recently tortured by the hired hand of her now ex boyfriend. She's very desperate to get out of the situation and will likely be very anxious for a while. While she can mask this rather well, thanks to her ability to fit whatever mold is expected of her, many underlying actions and feelings will be based off of her worries. And now trust issues.
